Krupke is one of the first bands that contacted us about covering their show or reviewing their album. We did both. Unfortunately, this group is throwing in the towel and, though this is a bit of sad news, the good news is that they’ll be throwing a party for their last show ever.
Their last show will take place this Friday, February 25th at Rancho Relaxo. They’ll be joined by The Ruby Spirit, Tofu Meat, and Carlo (from Toys Are Just). So you’re prepared for the event, Krupke has provided an “instruction manual.” Check that out here.
Their whimsical and quirky sound, with layers of xylophone, clarinet, violin, guitar and keys over solid drums, is something we’ll certainly remember. We encourage you to attend and see Krupke while you have the chance.
