Band: The Lindbergh Line
EP: Bang Bang You’ll Be Missed
Shot of choice: flatliner or liquid cocaine
The Lindbergh Line just released Bang Bang You’ll Be Missed, a 4-song EP clocking in around 17 and a half minutes. This Montreal-based 3-piece is comprised of Myriam Chebat (vocals, guitar), Karl LeBlanc (bass) and Denise Williams (drums). Chebat’s vocals possess a certain kind of sass, with a driving bass line backing her up.
The band has described themselves as a dirty pop band and there is certainly a grimy garage rock, almost 90s-like, element to their sound. The upbeat tunes have a danceable quality that suggests potential for a great live element. In fact, my impression of The Lindbergh Line is that this is a band that probably prides themselves on their live show. Bang Bang You’ll Be Missed is a short collection of songs that The Lindbergh Line have put together, but they’ve selected quality worth investigating.
