When it comes to Canadian Music Week, we are faced with some tough scheduling decisions every year. We always wish we could pack in more along with all the live music we see, considering all the great films and comedy shows that are also part of CMW. If you get the chance, we highly recommend you take advantage of everything CMW has to offer.
This year we actually had the privilege of participating in the conference aspect of the festival, as one of us was a speaker on a panel on blogging. While the panel wasn’t exactly what we were expecting, the Mentor’s Café was a really wonderful experience. If you’re interested on some thoughts on the overall experience, you can read this.
As for the live music, with just two of us able to cover the festival this year, we were still able to see about 60 bands. It’s always exciting for us to celebrate Canadian music and we’re excited to do it again next year – May 6-10, 2014!
