Mad Ones celebrated the release of Behaviour at the Silver Dollar last month. Andrew DeVillers (vocals, guitar) and Phil Wilson (drums) make up this rockin’ duo. With hard-hitting drum work from Wilson and DeVillers up front with his impressive vocals, this duo plays with an almost surprising amount of energy. Songs like “Bleed Thru” and “Darling Of The River” stand out in particular, but they played a set filled with tracks from the album.
The crowd was certainly into it, as well, fighting for a spot up front to rock out with the band. Bringing some great guests to play on the bill certainly helped, but there was a great sized crowd for their 1am set. By the end of the set, just as last call rolled around, the crowd cheered for more. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the release on a debut album.
