Witch Ever is a Toronto-based 3-piece fronted by Stephen Sirisko. He is joined by his son Cal on guitar and Ken Boville on drums. The band caught my attention when they sent us this video for “The Push,” which is full of Toronto imagery, as well as some G20 footage. With such a bold video, I was curious about their live set.
The band kicked off an indie music night at the Horseshoe with their powerful rock and roll. They drew a decent-sized crowd and made sure to deliver a memorable set to those who made the effort to show up early. Sirisko had several attention-grabbing guitar solos, while predominantly on lead vocals revealing his gritty, passionate vocals. With such energy and a confident stage presence, it’s no wonder why the crowd seemed to dig it.
Witch Ever has been filming a documentary, some of which was filmed at the Horseshoe. If you happen to catch them live, perhaps your enjoyment of the set will be documented as well.
