San Francisco rocker Ty Segall had a busy 2012, releasing Hair in collaboration with White Fence in April, Slaughterhouse with Ty Segall Band in June, and Twins as a solo effort in October. Segall is currently touring to support Twins, an album that the multi-instrumentalist wrote and recorded entirely by himself. As Segall wraps up a tour with Ex-Cult, they will play the Phoenix on Wednesday February 6th.
While he’s had quite the underground presence for several years now, Segall has recently been thrust into the limelight, making late night appearances on Conan and Letterman. While the prolific Segall continues to grow as an artist with his recordings, his energetic live shows are known to be particularly raucous-inducing. He is certainly a crowd favourite and we highly recommend you check out the show.
