Contest: Win Tickets to Twerps at the Silver Dollar

CONTEST CLOSED

Courtesy of Life or Death PR, we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to see Melbourne’s Twerps at the Silver Dollar (486 Spadina Avenue) on October 22nd. If you’re unfamiliar with the band, their lo-fi jangly pop sound has been likened to the sounds of the Flying Nun Records era back in the 80s and early 90s.

After releasing their debut album in 2011, the band has been quickly gaining steam since their first tour of the US supporting Real Estate in the spring. They’re now on their first US headlining tour with Alex Bleeker of Real Estate to promote their Work It Out 7″. The 7″, which serves as a preview for their follow-up album that will be out next year, has already been released digitally (September 17), but will be out physically on October 23rd.

Twerps is certainly worth getting excited about, but adding Real Estate’s Alex Bleeker makes for quite a nice bonus.

There are 3 ways to enter and you can increase your odds by entering using each method once.
