Laetitia Sadier, who you may be familiar with from her days with Stereolab, released her second full-length album, Silencio, on Drag City on July 24, 2012. The French songstress is coming to Toronto to showcase her new material, which follows her 2010 release, The Trip. Sadier will be playing at The Drake Hotel on September 18th.
If you’re unfamiliar with Sadier, her vocals certainly have the ability to wrap around you in such a soothing way, which goes along with the rich, textured yet subdued music. On the album, Sadier envelops the listener in warmth and I expect the same from the live show. We recommend you check out her show.
