In the fall of 2010, These Electric Lives earned the title of Indie Week winner and the privilege of headlining Indie Week Ireland. With a trip to Ireland in May, These Electric Lives are looking to spread their music across the UK, with stops in Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester and London.
To fund for this adventure, they’re putting together quite a unique fundraiser, or FUNdraiser, if you will. Held at the High Park Curling club, not only will you get to see the band perform, but with an extra $5, you can learn “Curling for Dummies,” courtesy of senior members of the curling club. There will also be a silent auction, DJ, billiards and foosball, and a bake sale. Sounds like fun, no? Whoever came up with this fundraiser – brilliant!
