Teenage Kicks Prepare Rational Anthems EP With Weekly Vids

In anticipation of the release of their debut EP, Rational Anthems, in April, Teenage Kicks will be releasing a music video every week (songs from the EP as well as B-sides) up until the big release. Teenage Kicks will be officially celebrating their release on April 29th at the Horseshoe Tavern.

We’re going to keep up-to-date with the videos, so you can keep up with the guys. Be sure to check back every week!

On April 26th, Teenage Kicks released the EP and made Rational Anthems available for FREE download. All you have to do is pay with a tweet (Facebook will also soon be a on option). Click here and get the EP from Exclaim!

On April 19th, Teenage Kicks released their 5th video on their own blog. With this video, they’ve released 4/5 songs from their Rational Anthem EP and they announced that the whole EP will be available on April 26th. Check out “The River,” a disturbingly humourous video involving a virginal sacrifice (of their own publicist!).

The 4th video and 3rd song from Rational Anthems debuted on April 12th. “Lose Your Head” has a garage sound and the video features Peter in different locations with a chalkboard in tow displaying the lyrics. Check out what Exclaim! had to say about the video here and be sure to grab the download of the song!

On April 5th, Teenage Kicks premiered their 3rd video and their second from Rational Anthems. The video for “Hearts of Darkness,” a straight up pop rock tune, features each member of the band in 4 corners of the screen switching instruments throughout the video. Check it out here on AUX.tv.

Showing off a soulful yet edgy sound, Teenage Kicks premiered their video of “Chain Of Fools,” an Aretha Franklin cover, on CHARTattack on March 29th. Check out the article and download the song (recorded and mastered by frontman Peter van Helvoort).

Debuted on March 22nd, here’s the video for “Brooklyn Bridge,” which was done by Teenage Kicks’ own Patrick Marchent. And click here to read what Exclaim! has to say about the video and the song (with a download link too).
