Dora Alexander, a Toronto-based indie rock/post-punk band that you might remember from this badass night, is about to release their debut EP, Travelers. The EP was recorded and produced by John Critchley (Dan Mangan, Elliott Brood) at Green Door Studios in Toronto. To get a preview of the EP, check out their MySpace for a few tracks. [UPDATE: the EP is now streaming in FULL!]
The EP Release show is happening at The Piston on October 22nd and supporting them will be Bravestation, First Rate People, and Volcano Playground. We’ve seen all these bands before and can tell you right now that it’ll be a great night. Cover is only $5 and that will also get you a physical copy of the EP. Come on, you can’t turn down that deal. Plus it’ll be a party!
Check out their promo video above, which was done by Jim Deluca (The Ghost is Dancing). If what I say doesn’t get you excited, the video should. See you at the show!
