War Child Canada’s Busking for CHANGE 2010

September 21st is International Peace Day and it’s fitting that Busking for CHANGE for War Child Canada would happen on this day. For this cause, many bands donated their time to the event and, in some cases, went busking at multiple locations.

We had a hectic day with a lot of running around. We caught a lot of bands, many of which were only partial sets. We recommend that you make it out next year because it’s a lot of fun. However, remember this advice: wear comfortable shoes/use your bicycle!

All 3 of us went out for this event (although we all missed the morning time slot). All 3 of us donated. Although the actual busking is done, you should still donate. You know what to do. At the very least, we hope your favourite bands brought some awareness about the situation for children in war torn countries.
